I have purchased and operated hydraulic piston pumps in paste backfill and paste tailings applications all over the world for the past 20 years while working for Golder Paste Technology, Barrick Gold, Goldcorp Inc and Kirkland Lake Gold.

Based on that experience I would only recommend using Putzmeister pumps. Their superior engineering and technical support makes them the leader in the industry. There has never been an issue which they could not resolve in a timely manner.

Also, their Putzmeister PCF system is really the only effective pulsation dampening system in use today.
