Scope:​

Design a macadamia pruning attachment to be mounted on to the front of a tractor that would prune both sides of the tree rows and be fully adjustable.

Design:

An external power unit was required due to the extra horsepower involved. This was mounted on the rear of the tractor and had two fixed displacement pumps with solenoid vented relief valves.

​

Each pump powered one side only of six (6) saws driven by two (2) motors. An innovative design of belt drive provided for trouble free maintenance for the client.
